How?

Starting with the rope behind you, pull it up and over your head. As the rope approaches your feet, cross your left arm across your hips and place your left wrist in between your right hip and your right hand. If you look down at your hands you'll see they appear to be holding an imaginary box at your side. The rope will form an uncrossed loop as it swings past your right side. Next, draw a rainbow at hip level and swing the rope to your left side, this time placing your right wrist on top of your left wrist just like we do in a Swing to Open. Swing the rope past your left side, and as the rope approaches the floor again, scoop your right hand back into its pocket position and jump the rope in an Open.

Why?

Progressing on from our single swing, it's useful to understand how we can connect skills together to build longer sequences of skills, or 'combos'.
